NORMAL REGULAR SERVICES:

Sunday worship is mainly traditional in character, built around the preaching of the Word. However, we do have modern audio-visual equipment that enables us regularly to do PowerPoint, show pictures and interpose film clips and/or music into presentations. Our 11am service is ‘Family Worship’ for all ages. Any children and young people leave during the first hymn for the Sunday School in the church hall and are well looked after by our dedicated teachers. Visiting families are more than welcome to take advantage of this.

Since the lockdown we are holding an evening service at 6pm on the first and third Sundays of each month. Our hymns and songs are normally taken from ‘Mission Praise’.

HOLY COMMUNION:

All Christian believers are welcome to join with us in Communion (the Lord`s Supper). Our emphasis is upon the preaching of the Word and the importance of fellowship, and sharing as the church of Jesus Christ. The ordinance of the Lord’s Supper is held on the first Sunday evening and the third Sunday morning. You are very welcome!

PRAYER AND BIBLE STUDY

Mount Calvary Baptist Church normally holds Prayer & Bible Studies every Wednesday at 10.30am for most of the year. The usual exception is when there is a summer break. All are very welcome to these study meetings which are a time of both study and discussion, often followed by tea and coffee.
